I had an Unlimited License. Why does Application Server log the error "LIC:License is absent"?
Open the log file. It is located in "Program Files\WebSpellChecker\AppServer" directory by default. The most common cause of the problem is the expired license. You have this cause if the log file contains the error message "LIC:License is absent". Please contact Tech Support to obtain new license. If it is not a license issue, please perform the following actions:
The term "Unlimited License" is that the license is not limited by time. However, there are the other limitations. The license is always binded to the computer hardware. After moving your server to the new platform you need to re-request your license.
