Juliana of the Netherlands, born as Juliana Louise Emma Marie Wilhelmina van Oranje-Nassau, was a prominent Dutch royal figure who served as the Queen of the Netherlands from 1948 until her abdication in 1980. Born on April 30, 1909, in The Hague, she was the only daughter of Queen Wilhelmina and Prince Henry of Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
